Abstract

Placing electrodes at the edges of the stacking faults, for example between Bernal and rhombohedral stacking orders as in the sketch, observable by transmission electron microscopy of a micrometer-size Sri Lankan natural graphite sample, record values for the change of the resistance with magnetic field has been found. The magnetoresistance (MR) increases linearly with field and reaches ≈107% at B = 21 T. For more details please refer to the article by Pablo D. Esquinazi and co-workers number 1900991.
