Effect of Ball Milled and Sintered Graphene Nanoplatelets–Copper Composite Coatings on Bubble Dynamics and Pool Boiling Heat Transfer
Source abstract
Abstract
This work, article number 1901562 by Anju R Gupta and co-workers, investigates the boiling performance of ball milled graphene nanoplatelets (GNP) and copper coated particles that results in draping of GNPs over copper particles. It was discovered that GNP-draped copper coatings possessed hierarchical porosity that served as nucleation sites for increased bubble activity. These coatings can be applied in many thermal engineering applications.
