Abstract

Integrating temperature and humidity sensors into textiles addresses the demand for wearable, noninvasive monitoring. However, challenges remain in achieving high sensitivity, material compatibility, and durability under user conditions. This work presents two textile sensor designs for environmental monitoring, a resistive sensor and an antenna‐based sensor, developed using scalable, low‐cost, and eco‐friendly conductive formulations. The resistive sensor, coated with shear‐exfoliated graphene, achieves sensitivities of −1.52 × 10 − 1 °C − 1 for temperature and −2.32 × 10 2 % − 1 for humidity. The antenna‐based sensor, fabricated with a PEDOT and silver nanoparticle ink, reaches −3.33 MHz °C − 1 for temperature and −1.29 MHz% − 1 for humidity. Both devices exhibit strong adhesion to textiles and retain performance after washing and bending, ensuring mechanical and electrical robustness. By tailoring sustainable, water‐based inks to distinct textile platforms and sensor architectures, this work establishes a sustainable and scalable framework for textile sensor design and shows its applicability to multifunctional smart textiles for wearable and environmental monitoring.
