Intrinsic and Extrinsic Factors Influencing the Glass‐Forming Ability of Alloys
Source abstract
Abstract
We discuss various factors influencing the glass transition phenomenon, separate intrinsic and extrinsic factors and explain the scattering of the experimental data on glass-forming ability of glassy alloys. Ideal Tg of Pt defined as a point of equal densities of liquid and crystalline phases.
