Abstract

Phase change materials with considerable energy absorption and release show promise for not only energy consumption but also stiffness-changing materials. To improve properties for adapting to a changeable environment, the functional materials have been attracted, which will change in nature or shape under the external stimulus, such as thermal, electricity, magnetic, and PH.
