Abstract

Aqueous Zn-Ion Battery Separators In article number e70929, Hyung-Kyu Lim, Bongjun Yeom, and co-workers report a bacterial cellulose nanofiber separator with continuous anionic nanochannels fabricated via a novel repetitive interfacial assembly for aqueous Zn-ion batteries. The interconnected nanochannels enable rapid Zn2+ transport and partial desolvation of the hydration shell, promoting facile and uniform Zn deposition, suppressing dendrite growth, and significantly enhancing electrochemical performance.
