Abstract

All-Solid-State Batteries In article number 2503562, Jun-Woo Park, Ping Liu, Hee-Dae Lim, and co-workers highlight a friction-heat–driven self-liquefying coating strategy for cathode particles in all-solid-state batteries. During a simple rotational process, the frictional heat generated induces the formation of a uniform and conformal coating layer on the cathode surface. This heat-assisted approach significantly enhances interfacial stability and overall electrochemical performance without requiring additional complex processing steps.
