Achieving 2400+ Hours Pure Water‐Fed Electrolysis via Hydroxide Exchange Membrane‐Electrodes Interface Engineering (Adv. Energy Mater. 43/2025)
Source abstract
Abstract
Anion Exchange Membranes Featuring a novel membrane-electrode interface engineered from a low glass-transition-temperature anion exchange membrane (AEM) resin, this design enables a highly elastic composite AEM during the membrane electrode assembly process. This ensures exceptional electrode adhesion and efficient hydroxide ion transport, achieving a record 2464 hours of stable continuous operation in pure water.
