Abstract

Crystallography Developing new electrodematerials for batteries depends on the active particle's crystallography. In article number 2302893, John Donald Morley, Chandramohan George, and co-workers highlight the fundamental correlations between crystallography and electrochemistry, which have a profound impact on battery specific capacity, charge rate, reversibility, cycle stability and safety. Towards this, a systematic research pathway is projected to allow more accurate studies of electrode material crystallography and its engineering enhancements.
