Part II: Development of a General Failure Control System for Estimating the Reliability of Deteriorating Structures
Source abstract
Abstract
Building on the Markov process description of pitting corrosion that has been established,1 this paper highlights the development of a general failure control system for estimating the reliability of deteriorating structures. The application this failure control system to a specific oil pipeline system is also demonstrated.
