Electrocatalytic Oxygen Evolution: Surface‐Guided Formation of Amorphous Mixed‐Metal Oxyhydroxides on Ultrathin MnO2 Nanosheet Arrays for Efficient Electrocatalytic Oxygen Evolution (Adv. Energy Mater. 27/2020)
Source abstract
Abstract
In article number 2001059, Wenjun Liu, Johnny C. Ho and co-workers develop a rapid surface-guided synthetic approach to introduce amorphous mixed-metal oxyhydroxide overlayers on ultrathin Ni-doped MnO2 nanosheets arrays supported on a nickel foam substrate via a galvanic replacement mechanism, resulting in a monolithic electrode with greatly enhanced activity for the electrocatalytic oxygen evolution reaction in alkaline conditions.
