Abstract

J. Huang and co-workers have used thin composite films of graphene oxide:single-walled carbon nanotubes as interfacial layers connecting P3HT:PCBM bulk heterojunction solar cells. This fully aqueous solution-processable tandem device architecture has been made possible for both regular and inverted cell geometries, as described on page 299. For the regular structures, the device exhibits high open circuit voltages, attaining 84% of the ideal value, with an average of 80% for the inverted structure.
