Abstract
Thermoelectric Materials In article number 2101877, Amin Bahrami, Kornelius Nielsch and co-workers summarize the development of interface/surface modification in thermoelectric materials and recent advances of important research, reporting the effect of charge carrier/phonon scattering induced by the second phase on thermoelectric properties. Furthermore, current challenges and future directions for interface/surface modification approaches are suggested alongside relevant experimental demonstrations for improving the thermoelectric performance.
