Modulating Anion Redox Reactions and Structural Evolution Through Fe‐Substitution in Li6CoO4 Hyper‐Lithiated Sacrificial Cathodes (Adv. Energy Mater. 42/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
Li-Ion Batteries In article number 2302316, Min-Sik Park, Won-Sub Yoon and co-workers demonstrate that the incorporation of iron into the Li6CoO4 system inhibits the formation of peroxide species and increases the proportion of electrochemically inactive phases during the delithiation process. This sheds light on the reaction mechanism in hyper-lithiated materials, presenting a strategic methodology for regulating the anion redox reaction and structural evolution of hyper-lithiated materials.
