Sustainable Prelithiation Strategy: Enhancing Energy Density and Lifespan with Ultrathin Li‐Mg‐Al Alloy Foil (Adv. Energy Mater. 29/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Prelithiation Prelithiation is a well-established strategy for enhancing battery performance bymitigating the first-cycle active lithium loss. In article number 2304097, Wang Wan, Sa Li, Yunhui Huang, Chao Wang, and co-authors demonstrate a novel sustainable lithium replenishment strategy. By employing a rational full-cell design and optimizing prelithiation reagent, the ongoing loss of active lithium throughout the battery's life cycle is mitigated, thus bringing higher energy density and multiple times lifespan.
