Enhancement of Nitrate‐to‐Ammonia on Amorphous CeOx‐Modified Cu via Tuning of Active Hydrogen Supply (Adv. Energy Mater. 7/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Electrochemical NO3RR In article number 2303863, Jianhua Shen, Yihua Zhu, Chunzhong Li, and co-workers developed an amorphous structure of CeOx on which Cu nanoparticles were loaded as the electrocatalyst for the preparation of ammonia by nitrate reduction. The amorphous structure promotes the decomposition of interfacial water, regulates the supply of active hydrogen during the catalytic process, and facilitates the production of ammonia.
