Thermoelectric Generators: High Power Density Thermoelectric Generators with Skutterudites (Adv. Energy Mater. 19/2021)
Source abstract
Abstract
In article number 2100580, Bertrand Lenoir and co-workers demonstrate the fabrication of high-power-density thermoelectric generators in which skutterudites act as the active materials. Using a nonconventional design of the thermoelectric legs that enables a strong reduction of the volume of skutterudites integrated, record-breaking power densities ranging between 2.8 and 7.6 W cm−2 for temperature differences varying from 450 to 630 K are achieved.
