Direct Upcycling of Leached FePO4 from Spent Lithium‐Ion Batteries toward Gradient‐Doped LiMnxFe1−xPO4 Cathode Material (Adv. Energy Mater. 7/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Lithium-Ion Batteries In article number 2302761, Linfeng Fei and co-workers report a green, simple, and scalable direct upcycling strategy for transforming leached FePO4 material from spent lithium-ion batteries toward LiMn0.25Fe0.75PO4 cathode material. The final product particles microscopically feature with gradient-doping of Mn as well as uniform carbon coating on their surface, delivering exceptional electrochemical performance upon used in lithium-ion batteries.
