Nickel‐Rich Cathodes: Prospect and Reality of Ni‐Rich Cathode for Commercialization (Adv. Energy Mater. 6/2018)
Source abstract
Abstract
In article number 1702028, Jaephil Cho, Minjoon Park and co-workers, review recent progress in nickel-rich cathode materials for industrial use, focusing on the material and electrode designs in terms of their commercialization in lithium-ion batteries. Currently, low material stability and limited electrode density are key challenges to overcome. In this regard, the authors provide innovative potential research directions, addressing current limitations for the practical use of nickel-rich cathodes.
