CeO2‐Accelerated Surface Reconstruction of CoSe2 Nanoneedle Forms Active CeO2@CoOOH Interface to Boost Oxygen Evolution Reaction for Water Splitting (Adv. Energy Mater. 4/2025)

Abstract
Water Splitting In article number 2403744, Rui Liu and co-workers report active CeO2@CoOOH interfaces reconstructed from CeO2@CoSe2 nanoneedles to boost the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) for water splitting. CeO2 facilitates the adsorption of OH− at the CeO2@CoSe2 interfaces and leads to a facile transformation of CoSe2 into CoOOH. The in situ formed CeO2@CoOOH interfaces demonstrate a superior OER performance.
