Current perspectives on the environmental applications using conductive metal–organic frameworks (CMOFs)
Source abstract
Abstract
Over the past decade, conductive metal–organic frameworks (CMOFs) have attracted great attention. Synthesis of CMOFs has been achieved through metal–ligand coordination, ligand-ligand stacking, redox activity and post-synthesis conductive strategies including post modification, doping and guest induced conduction. Herein, we review the recent development of CMOFs and their diverse applications especially for energy and environmental perspectives. We have discuss various strategies to enrich the conductive features of poor conductive MOFs. Importantly, the state of the art on experimental/computational aspects, and environmental applications of CMOFs will be discussed to guide the researchers towards real time utility of MOFs.
