Abstract

The luminescent MOF-based sensor shown on the Front Cover can detect endogenously produced hydrogen sulfide at the sub-micromolar level. This high sensitivity is reached thanks to a novel laser-pulse irradiation protocol developed during the luminescence study of three different MOF platforms. The reported laser-excited MOF system opens new perspectives for the design of the sulfide-related disease diagnosis tool and personalized healthcare.
