Abstract
In this comprehensive review the authors discuss light fastness standards, and the photochemistry involved, using six different light sources. The mechanisms of dye fading on textiles are explored, as well as some of the physical and chemical factors which influence lightfastness. Citations throughout the text are gathered at the end, serving as a large bibliography.
