Solvothermal synthesis and second harmonic generation of an inorganic-organic hybrid compound [DMAP+]2[CdI42–]
Source abstract
Abstract
An inorganic-organic hybrid [DMAP + ] 2 [CdI 4 2- ] (DMAP=4-dimethylamino-1-methylpyridinium) has been synthesized via solvothermal method and characterized by IR, X-ray single-crystal structure analysis. Crystal data: monoclinic, space group Cc with M r = 894.41, a = 13.972(4) A, b = 14.015(3) A, c = 14.865(7) A, α = 90°, β = 115.97(3)°, γ = 90°, V = 2617.0(16) A 3 , Z = 4, D c = 2.270 g/cm 3 , F(000) = 1640, μ = 5.560 mm -1 , R 1 = 0.0350, wR2 = 0.0863. Kurtz powder technique shows that the second harmonic generation (SHG) of the hybrid is about 3 times as large as that of KDP.
