Abstract

Two new inorganic-organic hybrid nanocomposite compounds were obtained by ion-exchange intercalation of hydroxylmesocyelic diamunes (L 1 ) and 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclo- trdecan-11,13,dione (L 2 ) into MnPS 3 . The interealation compounds were characterized by x-ray powder diffraction and infrared spectroscopy The XRD indicuted that the interlayer expansions were 3.58 A and 3.70 A respectively. siiggesting that the cyclic planes were aligned parallel to the layer direction. The MnPS 3 /L 2 interealate exhibits spontaneous magnetization below 40K.
