Synthesis and characterization of a luminescent binaphthyl-based polymer
Source abstract
Abstract
A new luminescent conjugated polymer containing binaphthyl moiety was synthesized by Suzuki coupling reaction. It was characterized by 1 H NMR, FT-IR, element analysis, GPC. DSC and TGA. The polymer possesses excellent thermal stability (T g = 287.5 °C). and good solubility in organic solvents. A blue emission was observed from its thin solid film under irradiation of UV light.
