Electron acceptors of the fluorene series in photothermoplastic storage media for holography
Source abstract
Abstract
Photoconductive thin (1.2 μm) poly-N-(2,3-epoxypropyl)carbazole (PEPK) films sensitised by electron acceptors of the fluorene series (2-15w%) have been used in photothermoplastic storage media (PTSM) for hologram recording in real-time scale. Using acceptors 2 and 3, very efficient PTSM were obtained: wide spectral region of a response (400-800 nm), holographic response S η = 60-120 m 2 J -1 (He-Ne laser), diffraction efficiency η max = 20-27% for planar light wave holograms, dynamic interval of hologram recording I ret /I ob 10 3 -10 4 (without amplification). These PTSM are also suitable for rainbow hologram recording.
