Temperature-dependent conductivity of polyparaphenylene/polypyrrole multilayer structures
Source abstract
Abstract
We have studied the conductivity of high temperature doped polyparaphenylene (PPP), polypyrrole (PPy) films and also the temperature-dependent conductivity of the structures consisted of electrochemically deposited PPy films onto halogen doped PPP. Particular attention is given to the conductivity stability of investigated polymer structures under vacuum treatment. On the basis of the experimental results the conductivity models for PPP and PPy were proposed. Also the influence of the PPy and PPP conductivity mechanisms on charge transport properties of PPP/PPy multilayer systems at temperatures from 77 to 373 K was investigated.
