Photoinduced Hydrogen‐Generating Nanogel Systems
Source abstract
Abstract
Photoinduced hydrogen nanogenerators are prepared by closely integrating sensitizer and catalyst in a nanogel network. The nanogenerators operate an internal electronic transmission circuit by coordinating the internal sensitizer and catalyst. This nanomaterial could be useful as an artificial photosynthetic system for solar-energy conversion. Detailed facts of importance to specialist readers are published as ”Supporting Information”. 34. As the amount of BIS crosslinker increased the nanogel sizes at the swollen state became smaller which is reasonable because highly crosslinked hydrogel is restricted from swelling.
35. The amount of H2gas linearly increased over 5 h until the EDTA was completely consumed.
