Highly Biocompatible Antibacterial Hydrogel for Wearable Sensing of Macro and Microscale Human Body Motions (Small 37/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Wearable Sensors In article number 2401201, Chun Che Lin and co-workers developed a hydrogel for electronic skin, incorporating polyvinyl alcohol, konjac glucomannan, borax, and flower-shaped silver nanoparticles (PKB/F-AgNPs). Demonstrating excellent mechanical resilience, rapid self-healing, and superior biocompatibility, its antibacterial efficacy against common pathogens was enhanced under blue light and assessed via electrical conductivity changes, positioning PKB/F-AgNPs as promising for sophisticated wearable electronics and interactive interfaces.
