Ultralight and Robust Covalent Organic Framework Fiber Aerogels (Small 32/2024)
Source abstract
Abstract
Covalent Organic Frameworks In article number 2311881, Jiansheng Li and co-workers proposed an epitaxial growth synergistic assembly strategy to fabricate pure covalent organic frameworks (COFs) fibers aerogel, consisting of intertwined COFs nanofibers (100–200 nm) grown on hollow COFs microfibers (∼1.7 μm). The aerogels possess ultralow density, unprecedented mechanical property, and excellent capacity for organic solvents absorption. This advancement opens new avenues for the design and fabrication of macroscopic COFs with excellent properties.
