Regulating the Electronic Structure of Bismuth Nanosheets by Titanium Doping to Boost CO2 Electroreduction and Zn–CO2 Batteries (Small 38/2023)
Source abstract
Abstract
Ti–Bi Nanosheets In article number 2302253, Jing Xu, Xucai Yin, and co-workers report novel titanium-doped bismuth nanosheets (Ti–Bi NSs) for electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction. The prepared Ti–Bi NSs catalyst possesses the open and ordered ultrathin nanosheet structure, which could provide a large number of exposed active sites and a fast mass transport channel. Moreover, Ti doping is beneficial to the electron enrichment effect of Bi NSs, and significantly enhances the interaction between the metal active site and *OCHO, thereby enhancing the catalytic activity in the formation of formate.
