Ultrathin 2D Nanolayer of RuO2Effectively Enhances Charge Separation in the Photochemical Processes of TiO2
Source abstract
Abstract
Ultrathin 2D nanolayers of RuO2 on TiO2 as heterogeneous epitaxy with effective enhancement to photochemical charge separation are reported. The RuO2/TiO2 heterojunction can be prepared on a large scale driven by a low degree of lattice misfit between the host and guest materials. Owing to the increased interface compatibility and contact areas, the photochemical and photoelectrochemical performances of TiO2 can be highly improved.
