Generalization of relation between shadow X-ray image and frequency of pulses at the output of a scanning detector

Abstract
A relation of a fairly general character has been established between a shadow X-ray image and frequency of random electric pulses generated by a detector of a radiometric testing system. The relation applies to arbitrary scanning modes of the shadow image and takes account of possible inhomogeneities in the detector sensitivity, alongside its integrating effect.
