Hystereses of Mechanical and Acoustic Parameters of Metals under High Torsional Strain
Source abstract
Abstract
Hystereses in mechanical and acoustic characteristics of metal rods subjected to alternating torsional stress up to the point of fracture have been studied. In the region of plastic deformation, the hystereses of mechanical parameters and speed of sound are accurately described by a hysteresis model for independent modes of positive and negative hysterons with Preisach–Mayergoytz diagram extrapolated to the region of negative stress.
