Abstract

A brief comparative description of the ЛЮM1-OB and ЛЮM33-OB luminescent testing methods is given. A description regarding the main types of contaminations that, under conditions of production and repair of articles, must be removed from parts before luminescent inspection is given. The principles of preparing parts for luminescent inspection are described. Examples of part-cleaning techniques that comprise sequentially performed technical operations with allowance for the kinds of removed working media and contaminations are presented.
