Evaluating Calculation of Mechanical Stresses due to Metal in Absorption of a Laser Pulse
Source abstract
Abstract
The results of evaluating calculation of mechanical stresses generated in a metal target heated by a several tens nanosecond laser pulse are given. The thermoelastic, hydrodynamic, and evaporating mechanisms of the stress generation are considered.
