Abstract

The level of internal stresses appears to be the main interfering factor in the magnetic measurement of the thickness of nickel deposits. The possibility of development of a probe with an informative zone close to magnetic saturation, which would substantially decrease the effect of stresses on measurement results, is demonstrated.
