Abstract

It is necessary to produce steel for relay switches, which is a low-carbon alloy-free steel with the content of pure iron above 99.5%. Requirements to the mechanical and magnetic parameters of such a steel are given. The technology of its production is described. Two techniques for testing the steel quality are compared, and advantages of both techniques are discussed.
