Luminescent convertors of X-ray radiation for medical and engineering diagnostics and systems for nondestructive testing
Source abstract
Abstract
The efficiency of using luminescent radiation convertors based on luminophors with different chemical compositions in X-ray diagnostics is evaluated. The dependences of the spectral sensitivity of radiation convertors in the energy range from 10 keV to 20 MeV are given. It is revealed that a higher radiative contrast is reached during X-ray diagnostics of items made of plastic and Al-Mg alloys using luminescent convertors based on “light” luminophors.
