Central demagnetization factor for bodies with different shapes. II. Rectangular rods
Source abstract
Abstract
The paper considers a possibility of describing central demagnetization factors for ellipsoids, cylinders, and rectangular rods using a common formula over a wide range of the relative parameter I. The calculations by this formula are compared to published experimental data using a statistical technique. It is discussed that the formula suggested can be used in calculations of the central demagnetization factor over the range of relative parameter I wider than in previously known formulas.
