The effect of asymmetry of acoustic properties of contact layers and a wear plate on the shape of a pulse radiated by a probe into a solid
Source abstract
Abstract
The effect of acoustic properties of contact layers and a wear plate, which differ in the wave thickness and specific acoustic impedance, on the duration of a pulse radiated into a solid by a piezo-electric plate excited by a half-sinusoidal electric pulse at the antiresonance frequency is studied.
