Use of the Two-Energy X-ray Method for Detection and Classification of Inclusions in an Inspected Object with Fluctuating Parameters
Source abstract
Abstract
With the use of the two-energy X-ray method, the problem of detection and classification of local inclusions in an inspected object with fluctuating parameters and for substantially differing atomic numbers of local inclusions’ and matrices’ substances is studied. A mathematical model relating the inspection capacity to the measuring scheme’s parameters and the object’s characteristics was constructed on the basis of principles of physical and technical realization. Two examples typical of the mining industry are considered.
