Selection of Piezoelectric Cells for Piezoelectric Transducers
Source abstract
Abstract
A simple technique has been suggested for selecting piezoelectric cells (PC) for piezoelectric transducers used in ultrasonic testing instruments. The technique enables one to evaluate rapidly and efficiently various PC parameters in a wide frequency range. PCs are characterized by two parameters: the antiresonance frequency fa and voltage Ua at the antiresonance frequency generated in PC. Experimental measurements of fa and Ua are given for various PCs fabricated by Russian and foreign firms.
