Device for Detecting the Liquid Level in the Annular Space
Source abstract
Abstract
An Echo-2 device assigned for measuring the liquid level in the annular space of producing and injection wells without the overpressure is described. Requirements for the functionally lightly designed and cheap device are considered. The design of the device which uses a rubber corrugation representing an element of the device frame as an acoustic pulse driver is described. A box-diagram of the device and the order of measurements are given. The Echo-2 devices are introduced and effectively operated during three years. The operation of the device showed that the device ensures the sufficient functional possibilities and the accuracy necessary for hydrodynamic investigations of mineral water wells.
