Method of State and Residual Resource Assessment of Excavator Bucket Tooth Caps
Source abstract
Abstract
The operation of mining machines in extreme climatic conditions requires the development of the diagnostic method to assess the state of the contact surface of mining machines executive equipment in order to their timely maintenance and repair. In this work, hardness and defection index non-destructive diagnostics of tooth caps contact surface was carried out for tooth cap service life prediction and determining the requirements of its replacement. As a result, the method of residual resource assessment was developed and as diagnostic criteria were chosen hardness and eddy current flaw detector readings of tooth caps contact surface, as well as the change in flaw detector readings change.
