Abstract
Back cover image: Embedding enzymes in 3D electrodes for electrochemical processes such as hydrogen production, nitrogen fixation, and CO2 reduction is at the forefront of the green chemistry revolution. In article number cey2.411, Grinberg et al. utilized a supramolecular self-assembled peptide hydrogelator to achieve a simple enzyme immobilization, prolonged stability, and resistance to enzyme leakage. This method was successfully employed for electro-enzymatic H2 production, paving the way for a variety of enzyme-mediated electrochemical applications.
