Thermal Properties of Graphene and Graphene-Based Nanocomposites: A Review
Source abstract
Abstract
In recent years, there has been increasing interest in thermally conductive graphene-based thin films due to their exceptional thermal conductivity and potential applications in various industries. This review outlines the primary methods of preparing graphene-based films and the pioneering research that has inspired their development, presenting potential applications and future challenges. First, this paper outlines several typical synthesis methods for graphene-based thin films, including chemical vapor deposition, reduction, and mechanical exfoliation. Next, the effects of size, defect engineering, interface engineering, and different process treatments on the thermal and mechanical properties of graphene-based films are analyzed. These findings provide constructive guidance for the preparation of thermally conductive graphene-based films. Finally, the current challenges and opportunities in developing and commercializing graphene-based thin films are discussed.
