A novel SrTiO3/HZSM-5 photocatalyst prepared by sol–gel method
Source abstract
Abstract
Abstract Novel composite SrTiO 3 /HZSM-5 photocatalysts were prepared using HZSM-5 as support. After loading SrTiO 3 on ηHZSM-5, surface areas of all the supported materials increase drastically. Photocatalytic activity of 30%SrTiO 3 /ηHZSM-5 is affected by hydrochloric acid concentration with an optimal value of 0.3 mol/L. Binding energies of Sr 3d and Ti2 p electrons move to high energy after loading SrTiO 3 on HZSM-5. Nearly 93.8% of the initial RBR-X3B is degraded on 30%SrTiO 3 /0.3HZSM-5 after 90 min of irradiation, which is much larger than that on SrTiO 3 .
