SEISMIC BEHAVIOR OF SHORT COUPLING BEAMS WITH DIFFERENT REINFORCEMENT LAYOUTS. DISCUSSION AND CLOSURE

A discussion of a paper with the aforementioned title by L. Galano and A. Vignoli, published in this journal (Volume 97, Number 6, November-December 2000), is presented. The discussers have conducted prior research in the same area of study as the authors, and compare some of their findings dealing with various ductility criteria with those presented by the authors. Discussion is followed by closure from the authors.
